The 300kW covers larger commercial and industrial buildings where a 250kW would be working at the top of its range for the whole hire. Running a unit permanently at full output is how a temporary installation ends up struggling in the coldest week of the job.
It suits factories, larger schools and colleges, leisure centres, hotels and public buildings, and it is a common specification for a phased plant room replacement where load has to be carried for several months.

Designed for delivery
The whole unit was built around getting onto site quickly. It tows behind a standard vehicle and needs no crane where there is a route to the plant room.
Controls already mounted
Expansion vessel, pressurisation unit and the associated controls are part of the trailer, so commissioning is a connection rather than an assembly job.
Gas or oil
Specified either way depending on what the site can supply, which makes it a flexible answer when the fuel position is not settled at quote stage.
Single phase supply
A 16 amp single phase supply is all it needs, so a temporary three phase connection is not part of the cost.

Where a 250kW is marginal against the building’s heat load, the 300kW gives headroom without moving to multiple units.

The trailer carries the boiler, the expansion vessel, the pressurisation unit and the associated controls. Hoses, fittings, pumps and a bunded fuel tank where it is oil fired are added to suit the connection.
No. It is a single phase unit and requires a 16 amp supply, which most sites can provide without a temporary connection.
It depends on your building’s heat load rather than its size. If the permanent boiler coming offline is around 250kW, the 250kW unit will hold it. If it is nearer 300kW, or the building struggles in cold weather as it is, take the headroom. We will size it with you rather than selling you the bigger one by default.
Every unit is hired with the boiler, burner and a standard pump as a minimum. Hoses, bunded fuel tanks, booster pumps, plate heat exchangers, headers, manifolds and pipework adapters are added to suit the connection and quoted with the unit.
Our own engineers, not subcontractors. They deliver, connect, fill, vent and commission the unit, then disconnect, drain and collect it when your permanent plant is back in service.
