For an emergency we can often be on site and running within hours, depending on your location and the unit size required. For planned hire we work to your programme, and the temporary unit is usually in place and commissioned before your permanent plant is taken offline.
It depends on the building’s heat load rather than its size. As a rough guide, small commercial premises typically need 90 to 150kW, mid-size buildings 250kW, and larger sites 400kW to 600kW or a packaged plant room. If you are not sure, we work it out from your existing boiler’s specification and the building’s actual demand.
In almost all cases, yes. Our engineers use standard Storz hose connections and carry the full range of fittings, booster pumps, plate heat exchangers, headers and ancillaries needed to integrate with most commercial systems, single circuit or multiple circuit.
Yes. We deliver commercial boiler hire nationwide from our Stoke-on-Trent base. London, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds, Bristol, Portsmouth, Newcastle, Cardiff, Glasgow and Edinburgh are all regularly covered.
Cost depends on the boiler size, the fuel, the length of hire and how complex the installation is. Our 90kW unit starts at £1,200 per week including boiler, burner and standard pump. Larger units are quoted against the site. Call 01782 274537 for a specification.
Fuel is normally the customer’s responsibility, and we will tell you the expected consumption up front so it can be budgeted. The 90kW uses roughly 10 litres of gas oil an hour at full output. We can supply bunded fuel tanks and arrange the first fill where that is easier.
