Industrial Boiler Hire

Industrial boiler hire and rental

For factories, manufacturing and process heat, where the heating is part of the operation rather than a comfort. Units from 90kW to 600kW, delivered, installed and commissioned by our own engineers.

Industrial hire

When the heat is the production line, not the office

Industrial heat is a different problem from commercial heat. A cold office is uncomfortable. A cold process is a stopped line, scrapped batches and a shift sent home, and the cost of that is rarely measured in the price of the boiler.

So industrial hire is sized against the process load and the shift pattern rather than the floor area, and it is specified for continuous running rather than for a heating season. Dual fuel matters more here, because a hire that has to run for weeks cannot depend on a single supply.

We have supplied temporary heat to factories and manufacturing sites for over two decades, alongside the hospitals and local authority buildings that make up the rest of the work.

Industrial applications

What industrial sites hire boilers for

Process heat, space heating and hot water, usually all at once and usually on a shift pattern.

Process heat

Where the heat is an input to what the site makes. Sized against the process load and the duty cycle, not the building volume.

Factory space heating

Large-volume industrial space where heat loss dominates and the load looks nothing like an office of the same footprint.

Warehousing and distribution

Frost protection and working temperatures across large sheds, often with the doors opening all day.

Industrial hot water

Wash-down, cleaning and process water at volume, which is a hot water problem rather than a heating one.

Plant replacement programmes

Holding the whole site load for weeks or months while an industrial plant room is rebuilt around it.

Contingency and resilience

Standby capacity where an unplanned outage costs more in a shift than the hire costs in a month.

Industrial fleet

Sized for the process, not the postcode

Above 600kW we build packaged temporary plant rooms: multiple boilers on a common header, configured around the site. Those are quoted from a survey rather than a phone call.

Capacity
90kW to 600kW single units, larger as packaged plant rooms
Fuel
Natural gas, gas oil, LPG, LNG, BioGas or dual fuel
Format
Trailer mounted, containerised or skid mounted for tight access
Security
Containerised units are lockable, for unmanned sites and overnight
Duty
Specified for continuous running, not seasonal use
Ancillaries
Plate heat exchangers, buffer vessels, booster pumps, bunded fuel tanks
How we specify it

Sizing an industrial hire

The load, not the building

Tell us the process, the flow temperature and the duty cycle. Floor area tells us very little on an industrial site.

The fuel position

What the site can supply, and what happens if that supply is interrupted. This is usually what decides dual fuel.

Access and siting

Hardstanding, crane access, flue clearance and how close the unit can get to the connection point. Larger jobs get a survey.

Install and commission

Delivered, connected and commissioned by our engineers, with method statements and risk assessments issued beforehand.

Why us for industrial

Two decades of industrial heat

Industrial is core work, not a sideline

Factories and manufacturing sit alongside the hospitals and local authority estates as the daily work, rather than being an occasional job between domestic boiler swaps.

Dual fuel where it matters

On a long industrial hire the fuel supply is the risk, not the boiler. Dual fuel units remove the single point of failure.

24/7, because production is

A line that stops at three in the morning does not wait until nine. The phone is answered by an engineer at any hour.

Procurement-ready

CHAS accredited and Constructionline registered, with method statements and risk assessments issued as standard rather than on request.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions about industrial boiler hire

If yours is not answered here, ring and ask. You will get a straight answer rather than a callback form.

Single units from 90kW to 600kW in gas, oil and dual fuel. Above that we build packaged temporary plant rooms from multiple boilers on a common header, sized and configured around the site and quoted from a survey.

Yes, and a good deal of our industrial work is exactly that. Tell us the flow temperature you need to hold and the duty cycle, and we size against the process rather than the building.

This is the usual reason industrial hires are specified dual fuel. The unit runs on either supply, and we can site a bunded oil tank alongside so an interruption is a change of fuel rather than a stopped line.

Yes. Industrial units are specified for continuous duty, which affects the unit chosen, the ancillaries and the service arrangement across the hire. Tell us the running hours you expect.

The containerised units are lockable, which is why they are usually specified for construction sites and unmanned industrial estates where plant is left overnight.

Yes. We are CHAS accredited and Constructionline registered, our engineers are Gas Safe registered and REFCOM certified, and method statements and risk assessments are issued before work starts rather than on request.
