Temporary boiler hire anywhere in the United Kingdom

Being in the middle matters more than having a depot in every city. Stoke-on-Trent sits on the M6 between Birmingham and Manchester, which puts most of England and Wales inside a half-day drive and makes a genuinely national emergency service workable from one place.

It also means one team. The engineers who size the job travel with the unit, install it and commission it, wherever in the country that is, rather than the work being handed to a local subcontractor who has never seen our plant.

We have been supplying temporary heating to hospitals, factories and local authority buildings for over two decades, and the fleet is set up for the awkward jobs as much as the straightforward ones: units that can be towed, pushed or craned into place where a lorry cannot get near the plant room.

Why one base works

A national service without a national overhead

Central by geography, not by claim

Stoke-on-Trent is roughly an hour from Manchester and Birmingham, ninety minutes from Liverpool and Leeds, three from London. Most of the country is a same-day delivery from one yard.

One engineering team

The people who size the job travel with the unit and commission it. Nothing is handed to a local subcontractor who has never seen our plant or our paperwork.

The whole fleet in one place

No unit is stranded at the wrong depot. Whatever your building needs is in the same yard as everything else, which is why an emergency call does not turn into a hunt.

Realistic response times

We tell you what the drive actually is. A four-hour job is quoted as a four-hour job, not promised in two and then explained afterwards.

Who we hire to

Who we hire to

Two decades of temporary heating across the public and private sectors.

Hospitals and healthcare

NHS trusts and private clinics, with priority response and units sized against ward, theatre and hot water demand.

Schools, colleges and universities

Installation planned into holidays and weekends so a plant replacement never costs a teaching day.

Local authorities and public estates

Leisure centres, civic buildings, crematoria and depots, with CHAS and Constructionline credentials for procurement.

Industry and manufacturing

Process heat and factory space heating held through a plant room programme, on a shift pattern that does not stop.

Care homes and sheltered housing

Priority where residents are vulnerable to an outage, with monitoring available across the hire.

Construction and refurbishment

Temporary plant supporting a programme, sited securely and containerised where the site is left unmanned.

FAQs

Nationwide boiler hire: common questions

If yours is not here, ring and ask. You will get a straight answer rather than a callback form.

For most of England and Wales, the same day. Our Stoke-on-Trent base is within a few hours of the majority of the country, and an emergency call gets a unit moving immediately. Scotland and the far South West take longer, and we will tell you the realistic arrival time on the call rather than an optimistic one.

No, and that is deliberate. One central yard means the whole fleet is in one place, so an emergency call does not become a search for which depot has the right unit. Stoke-on-Trent’s position on the M6 is what makes that workable.

Our own engineers, who travel with the unit. We do not subcontract installation anywhere in the country, which is why we can commit to a specification, a commissioning standard and the documentation that comes with it.

Delivery is quoted separately and plainly against your postcode. Because hire is priced by the week, on anything longer than a few days the unit and the weekly rate matter far more to the total than the distance travelled.

Scotland and Wales, yes, as a planned delivery rather than a two-hour emergency response. Northern Ireland involves a ferry crossing, so ring and discuss it before assuming a timescale either way.
